Rock United Seniors Band Workshop
is here!!!

For all you older fantasy “Would have loved to / Wish I’d done that / Did it but had to give it up” rockers, this is your chance.
You know you’ve always wanted to “rock” and are dead jealous of your kids.
So come down to the Mill Hill Music Complex on Monday nights to make some great music.
We’ll be playing anything from Rock to Pop to Blues to Funk to 60′s to Jazz.
All you’ll need is your guitar, bass, voice, sticks, sax or …… (drums, keyboard, PA system all provided)

8-11pm - £20 for a 3 hour band session
(2 hrs instruction plus a 1 hour jam)
First session on Monday 16 Jan 2012

Rock United is a holiday and after school club designed to train young musicians (ages 10 -17 –from year 6) to play together in a band, make great music, perform and record it.

The workshops teach young musicians to play effectively in a group situation –creating,rehearsing and then recording.

This gives them a basis from which they can create their own music and form their own bands, as well as building their characters and boosting their confidence (and enjoying the band experience).

Instruments involved include –Electric Guitar, Electric Bass, Drums, Keyboards, Voice, Saxophone and any other instrument you bring along!
